!I this date, bids were received for the Fire Truck, from A. Ct. Long Co., Howard
" Cooper Cor'poration, Hathaway Motor Co., Seagrave Corporation, and the Gannett

mentioned being of such numbers, it was deemed expedient to call a meeting of
the Fire & Water Committee, togetherwith other members of the Council who are
in tere s ted an d. the mem bers of the C ompanie s bidding to me e t; at the office of
McMorran & Washburne's, at, the hour of 10:00 o'clock A. M. on December 7, 1928,
and make a report of its findlngs tore'p or t the same bac k to the regular mee ting
of the Common Councll to be h~ld on December la, 192 8 .
