The M:ay,or stated that the meeting had been called to hear the details
of a proposed food conservation program, and t.o eOl1.sider the support of this
relief project by part contribution from the City.
The plan was presented by Wir. George H. McMorran and 1\'11'. Tom Flippin
and generally discussed by them and the Council. The Council expressed the
desire that Mr . Flippin fu;rni sh more detailed est ima te s of the probable cost
of the operation, and report to the Council at its meeting on /July 11th.
