! I hereby call a special meeting of the Common Council to mee t
ii at the Council Chambers in the City Hall on Friday, December 1st,
1933, at 5:00 o'clock P.M., for the purpose of considering and
passing an Ordinance directing the Mayor and Recorder of the City
of Eugene to enter into a contract and agreement with the Eugene
Concrete Pipe Company for the furnishing of concrete tile for the
carrying forward of the trunk sewer project as approved by the .
Civil Works Administration.

Pursuant to the notice of Special Council meeting, the Council
was called to order in special se s si on b~;- I\lay 01' Large, at 6:00
I o'clock I'.M., December 1st, 1933, with all Councilmen present except I
Dr. Simon and Ur. Edwa11ds.
An Ordinance directing the Uayor and Recol~der of the City of
Buge ne to enter into the hereto attached contract on behalf of the
':a ty of E'ugene, and declaring an emerf';e ncy, was read the fi rs t time
and passed its second and third readings by title under suspension of
I) the rule, by the unanimous consent of the Council and was placed upon
its final passage. The ayes and nays were called, Councilmen voting
II aye 6, nay none, absent Simon and Edwards. The Ordinance ~as
declared passed and nlliubered 8375.
