Minutes of the adjourned meeting of the Common Council held at the
hour of 8:00 ,o'clock P. M., October 25, 1934. Council was called to order
by Mayor Large, wi th all Councilmen present except Mr. Edwards.
Prior to the meeting of the Council, pursuant to notice thereof, a
meeting of the Budget Committee and Taxpayers of the City of Eugene was
held, at which meeting were present Martin Svarverud, Mr. Wilhelm, and
George Schaefers, who were heard to make objection to some of the items
in the budget , after which a motion was made, seconded and carried that
.: the budget be approved as submitted by the Budget Committee.
Mayor Large called ~he Council to order at 8:00 o'clock p. M.
pursuant to the adj ournment of Oct ober 22nd, and an Ordinance levying
the Annual Tax Levy for the City of Eugene, for,the Fiscal Year of 1935
I was read the first time and passed its second and third readings by title
under suspension of the rule by the unanimous consent of the Council, and
~ was placed upon its final passage. The ayes and nays were called, Council-
men voting aye 7, nay none, absent Edwards. The Ordinance was declared
passed and numbered 8396.
On motion the Council adjourned.
