TO THE MEMBERS OF THE COMlVION COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EUGENE, OREGON:
I hereby call a special meeting of the Common Counci~ to meet at
the Council Chambers in the city hall on Tuesday, October 30th, 1934,
at 5:00 o'clock P.M., for the purpose of passing an Ordinance letting
contracts for and. determining the probable cost of dismantling certain
dangerous buildings located at 526 Willamette Street in the City of
, .Eugene.

II PursUant to the notice of Special Council meeting, the Council
Ii was called to order in special session by 1~yor Large, at 5:00 o'clock
I' P. M., October 30, 1934, with all Councilmen present except Dr. Simon I

Ii Motion was made, seconded and carried that the bid of Robert
11 Johnston and Edward Larsen in the amount of $125.00 for the demolition
" of the Gaylord buildings at 526 Willamette Street in accordance with

Ii the plans and specifications for the dismantling of sa~d b~ldings be
I accepted.

I An Ordinance le tting contracts for and determining the proba'ble

i located at 526 Willamette Street, was read the first time and passed

II its second and third readings by title. under suspension of the rule
by the unanimous consent of the Council and was placed upon its final
'I passage. The ayes and nays were called, Councilmen voting aye 6, nay

II none, absent Simon and Edwards. The Ordinance was declared passed
Ii and numbered 8397.
