NOTICE OF SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING (;':;'

TO THE MEMBERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON:
I hereby call a special meeting of the Common Council to meet at
the Council Chambers in the City Hall on Thursday, November 8th~ 1934,
at 5:00 o'clock P.M., for -the pu~pose of passing an ordinance direct-
ing the Mayor and Recorder of the Ci ty of Eugene, as a Board of
Canvassers, to canvass the votes cast at, and retums made by the
Election Boards of the election held in said City on November 6, 1934.

Pursuant to the notice of Special Council meeting, the Council
was called to 0 rder in special session by Mayor Large, at:i5 :00 0' clock
P.M., November 8, 1934, with all Councilmen present except Dr. Simon
and Mr. Edwards.

0 An Ordinance directing the Mayor and Recorder of the City of
, Eugene, as a Board of Canvassers, to canvass the votes cast at, and
r retums made by the Election Boards of the election held in said City
I on November 6, 1934, was read the first time and passed its second and
, third readings by title under suspension- of the rule by the unanimous
consent of the Council and was placed upon its final passage. The
ayes and nays were called, Councilmen voting aye 6, nay none, absent
Simon and Edwards. The Ordinance was declared passed and numbered
, 8398.
On motion the Council adjourned.
