Council was called to orde r b.v Mayor Large for the purpose of hearing and acting on the report of the Finance Committee, on bids received for the sale of Refunding Assessment Bonds A and B, with all Co'uncilmen present except Reid, Simon, and Carlson. Councilman Hendershott, Chairman of the Finance Committee, moved that the bid of Camp & Co. Inc. be accepted. Motion was seconded, and the a.ves and na.vs were called. Council$en voting aye 5, nay none, absent Reid, Simon and Carlson. The bid referred to being set out in full as follows: " I1Ir. C. ~\I. Bryan, Ci ty Rec order, Eugene, Oregon. An Ordinance accepting the bid of Camp & Co., Inc., Blyth & Co., Inc., Commonwealth Securities Corp., Conrad, Bruce & Co., and Ferris & Hardgrove, for the purchase of Refunding Assessment Bonds A, in the sum of *154,500.00 and for the purchase of Refunding Assessment Bonds B, in the sum of ~133,000.OO, and fixing the rate of interest on said bonds, was read the first time and passed its second and third readings by title under suspension of the rule, by the unanimous consent of the Council, and was placed upon its final passage. The ayes and nays were called, Councilmen voting aye 5, nay none, absent Reid, Simon and Carlson. The Ordinance was declared passed and numbered 8416.
