':,'F Minutes of the adjourned meeting of the Common Council held at the hour of
,~ 10:-30 o'clock A. M., September 19, 1935. Council was called to order by Mayor
Large, with all Councilmen present except Carlson.
Sealed bid for the sale of $113,000.00 Refunding Improvement Bonds "G", from
E. M. Adams and Co., Atkinson, Jones and Co., Blyth and Co., Inc., Camp and Co.,
Inc., Conrad, Bruc'e and Co., Ferris and Hardgrove, and Hemphill, Fenton and
Campbell, Inc. was opened. and read, and the Finance Committee retired to consider
said bid. They returned with the recommendation that the bid be accepted. Motion
I was made and seconded to accept the Finance Committee's recommendation, and the
I ayes and nays were called, Councilmen voting aye 7, nay none, absent Carlson.
The bid referred to being set out in full as follows:

denominations of $1,000. each, $11,000.00 thereof due September 15, 1936 and
il $11,000.00 due on the 15th of September of each succeeding year to and including
" September 15, 1944, and $14,000.00 due September 15, 1945, bonds to bear interest
,: at the rate of 3 3/4% per annum, interest payable semi-annually on the 15th days

An Ordinance accepting the bid of E. M. Adams and Co., Atkinson, Jones and
Co., Blyth and Co., Inc., Camp and Co., Inc., Conrad, Bruce and Co., Ferris and
Hardgrove, and Hemphill, Fenton and Campbell, Inc. for the p~rchase of Refunding
Improvement Bonds "G", of the City of Eugene, in the sum of $113,000.00, and
fixing the rate of interest on said bonds, was read the first time and passed
its second and third readings by title under suspension of the rule by the
I unanimous consent Df the Council, and was placed upon its final passage. The
I ayes and nays were called, Councilmen voting aye 7, nay none, absent Carlson.

I, The Ordinance was declared passed and numbered 8444.
II On motion the Council adjourned to meet on September 26th, 1935 at 7:30
