..... To the Members of the Common Council
of the City of Eugene, Oregon:
You are hereby notified that a special meeting of the Common Council of the
City of Eugene is hereby called for 5:00 o'clock P. M. of October 16, 1935, at
the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.
This meeting is called for the purpose of hearing the report of the street
Committee on the purchase of the Daniels property for a maintenance shop.
Dated at Eugene, Oregon this 16th day of October, 1935.

Pursuant to notice of Special Council meeting, the Council was called to
order' in special session by Mayor Large at 5:00 o'clock P. M., October 16, 1935,
with all Councilmen present except Hendershott and Zumwalt.
Councilman Lamb presented the arrangement made with the U. S. National I
I Bank for the purchase of the Daniel's property' at 5th and Olive street, as

I Councilman.Lamb moved that the City accept the above offer, and the Mayor

II and Recorder be authorized tu enter into a contract with the U. S. National
Bank for the purchase of this property as above outlined, and that the Recorder .
be instructed to draw a warrant in the amount of $3,000.00 as the down payment.
Motion was seconded by Councilman Harris, and the ayes and nays were called,
Councilmen voting aye, Lamb, Reid, Simon, Bond, and Harris. Nay, Carlson.
Absent Hendershott and Zumwalt.
\ On motion the Council adjourned.
