NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That on this 21st day of February,' 1939, the Mayor
of the City of Eugene hereby calls a meeting to be held at 9:00 o'clock A. M. in the
Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Eugene for the consideration of the
amendment of the Ordinance providing for curb cuts or for another ordinance covering
curb cuts and repeal of former' ordinances on that subject..

The council met in special meeting pursuant to the call if Mayor Large with
all councilmen present except Mr. Hanns.
Mayor Large called the meeting to order.

An Ordinance regulating the cutting of curbing on any street or alley within
the City of Eugene and repealing conflicting ordinances and declaring an emergency,
and a penalty, had its first reading and passed to its second and third readings by
title under suspension of the rule by unanimous consent of the council and was place
for final reading. The ayes and nays were called. Councilmen voting aye: Lamb, Rei
Bond, Carlson, Farrington, Page and Koppe; nay, none; absent, Hanns. The ordinance
was declared passed. and numbered 8591.
There being no further business, the meeting was upon motion duly made ~]d
seconded, adjourned.
