July II, 1939 5:00 o'clock P.M.
In accordance with a call by the Mayor for a Special Council Meeting the Council met and
was called to order by the Mayor, Elisha Large.- A roll call showed that councilIlEm present were:
Messrs: Reid, Bond. Farrington. Hanna, Page, Koppe, Carlson and Lamb. absent: none.
City Attorney Calkins explained to the Council that an Ordinance presented at this til1B
was merely to make a correction in certain ordinance ordinances concerning sewage disposal tlat had
been passed previously. He explained that when Ordinance #8583 was passed the words "or both"
were omitted from the last part of Section 2 of that ordinance; that Ordinance No. 8598 was subsequen ly
passed to correct ~is error. In the mean time ordinance 8590 had been passed and when No. 8598
was passed certain sections in this ordinance No. 8590 ~not included. That the ordinance nav
presented to the Council corrects this defect.
