'-" 1 The Taxpayer's meeting was called to order by Kayor Large and Mayor Large asked if there was anyone in the audience that wished to address the Council in regard to the proposed budget which had been recommended by the Budget Committee and which had been advertised in the Re[ister-Guard as required by State Law. There were no replies from the audience to Mayor Large's request for comments and an Ordinance adopting the Budget as advertised, was read the first time and passed to its second and third readings by unanimous consent of the Council by title under suspension of the rules and was placed for final passage. The ayes and nays were called; councilmen voting aye: Bond" Barette, Farrington, Koppe, Hawn, and Pennington; nay, none; absent, Stewart and Brownson. The ordinance was declared passed and numbered 8744. I Mayor Large stated that he wished to thank the Budget Committee on behalf of himself and the Council for their work on the Budget.
