I NOTICE OF SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
To the Members of the Common Council of the City of Eugene
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on this 30th day of March, 1943, the Mayor of Eugene
hereby calls a meeting to be held at 5:00 P. M. in the Council Chambers of the
City of Eugene for the following purpsse:

For the purpose of amending the ordinance controlling dogs, passed March 22, 1943.

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Large at 5:30 P.M. All Councilmen
were present except Councilman Brownson.
Attorney S. M. Calkins explained to the Council the amendments that he wished
to make to the Dog Ordinance, No. 8764. The Ordinance amending Ordinance 8764 was
read the first time and passed to its second and third readings by unanimous
consent of the council by title under suspension of the rules and was placed for
final passage. The ayes and nays were called: Councilmen voting aye: Barette,
Farrington, Hawn, Koppe, Davis, and Steart; nay, Pennington: absent, -Brownson.
The Ordinance was declared passed and numbered 8766.
