Meeting of the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon - adjourned from the'
regular meeting held October 12, 1964 - was called to order at 4:00 p.m. PDT on
October 20, 1964 by His Honor Mayor Edwin E. Cone with the following councilmen
present: Mrs. Lauris, Messrs. Chatt, Christensen, Deverell, and Purdy. Absent
were Councilmen Swanson, Crakes, and Hawk.
e 1 This being the date set for the award of sale of $1,700,000 Sewer System Bonds,
Series "C", and $4,200,000 Sewer System Bonds, Bethe1-Danebo Series, the following
tabulation of bids opened at 10:00 a.m. PDT on Octob"er 20, 1964 was presente~:

Mrs. Lauris moved seconded hy Mr. Chatt that the bonds be sold to First National
Bank of Chicago and Associates on their bid price of $98.60 per $100 of par value
with an effective interest rate of 3.0631904%. Rollcall vote. All councilmen
present' votl.ng :ay~, motion carried.
