I A special meeting of the Common,G~uncil of the city of Eugene, O. reg~n was called for the purpose of
canvassing votes in the election held July 15, 1969, and adopting the 1969-70 budget. The meeting
: was called tq order by His Honor .L~s ter Anderson at 11 :45 a .m. on July 17, 1969 in the Council Chamber
il with the following councilmen present: Mrs. Hayward, Messrs. McDonald and Wingard, Mrs.. Beal, and
!i Mr. Mohr. Absent were Councilmen Purdy, Teague, and Gribskov.

11 Proclamation' - Canvassing votes in election held July 15, 1969 with regard to levying
11 tax outside 6% limitation in the amount of $931,454.00 was submitted and read" showing

il Employe Relations Fact Finding.Committee - Council members'disc~ssed a memorandum
Ii previously distr~buted by Mayor Anderson outlining duties of the Employe Relations >
il Fact Finding Committee and requesting suggestions from the Council regarding t~e
I committee. It was suggested the words "their representatives" be inserted in Line 3
:' of Paragraph 3 of the memo so as to read "...the Committee would be expected to solicit
ill the views,.. .of the employes, their representatives, and the administrative staff...."

I! Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. . Mohr to adopt the guidelines, including the suggested change, for
I: the Employe Relations Fact Finding Committee as set forth in the Mayor's memorandum. Motion carried.
