I:present were: Mrs. Hayward, Messrs. Purdy, McDonald, Wingard, Mrs. Beal, Mr. Gribskov and Mr. Mohr.

ii of Eugene. He explained that two phases would be involved, the first being consideration of II
~: possible action, and second, against whom action would be taken'. It is estimated cost for ,
I; attorneys fees would be between $200 and $1000. I'

" It was concluded that there would be many adyantages to retention of a local firm. It is the !I

'I staff recommendation that the firm of J9hnson, Johnson and Harrang be retained for the first

Ii phase of the program, and that they should be provided with guidelines. The cost for this I'

" first phase should not exceed $500. "

Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mrs. Beal that the Council approve the recommendation of the ,

I: City Manager to retain the firm of Johnson, Johnson and Harrang, and that guidelines established ,I
, by the City Manager should be furnished to them. "

,I In answer to Councilman Mohr, the City Manager said this firm understood that there were two

,: phases to the problem, and that Mr. Arthur Johnson and Mr. Rick Mercer will start work
,: immediately.

A vote was taken on the motion as stated., Rollcall. All councilmen voting aye, motion carried.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, 'meeting was adjourned to August 25, 1969.
