Special meeting of the Common Council of.the city of Eugene Oregon -called. to order by His Honor I
I Lester E. Anderson - called to amend Section 4A, Ordinance #15632, to conform to similar or~inances I
\ of the City with regard to interest rates - was called to order on October 29, 1969 at 11:50 a.m. in the
Council Chamber with the following Councilmen present: Hayward, McDonald, Purdy, Wingard, Beal,
Gribskov and Mohr. Mr. Teague was absent.
Council Bill No. 9020 - Amending Ordinance No. 15632, Section 4A, passed by the Common Council
on April 28, 1969 and approved by the Mayor on April 29, 1969, providing for a sanitary sewer, and
declaring an emerge~cy, was submitted and read in full.

Mr. Mc onald moved seconded by Mr. Wingard that the bill be read the serond time by council bill
number'only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read
e the second time by council bill number only.
Mr. McDonald moved seconded by Mr. Wingard that the rules be suspended and the bill be read the third
time by council bill number only with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously

I Mr. McDonald moved seconded by Mr. Wingard that the bill be approved and given final passage. II
I I Rollcall vote. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was dec1 ared passed and numbered 15829.
Upon motion duly made', seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
