Special meeting of the Common Council of the city of Eugene Oregon was called to order by His Honor
Lester E. Anderson at 7:30 p.m. on April 20, 1970 in the McNutt Room of City Hall, with the following'
councilmen present: Messrs. McDonald, Teague and Purdy; Mrs. Hayward and Mrs. Beal; Messrs. Gribskov,
Mohr and Williams.
ORDINANCES
Council Bill No. 9128 - Improve Willamette Street from 40th Avenue to south boundary of
Edgewood Estates 7th Addition was submitted and read in full.
Mr. Mcdonald moved seconded by Mr. Teague that the bill be read the second time by council bill number,
only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the
second time by council bill number only.
Mr. McDonald::,moved seconded by Mr. Teague that the rules be suspended and the bill read the third time
by council-bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and
the bill was read the third time by council bill number only.

Mr. McDonald moved seconded by Mr. Teague that the bill be approved and given final passage. Rollcall,'
vote. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 15934.
Council Bill No. 9129 - Adopting plans and specifications to improve Willamette Street from 40th
Avenue to south boundary of Edgewood Estates 7th Addition was submitted and read in full.

only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the

RESOLUTIONS
Resolution No. 1810 - Approving the Urban Renewal Plan and feasibility of relocation for
neighborhood development of the Danebo-Neighborhood Program No. ORE. A-4, was submitted and read in
full.
Mr. McDonald moved seconded by Mr. Teague that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried.
Mpon motion duly made, seconded and carried, meeting adjourned to April 27, 1970.
