I. PHONE INTERVIEW
A pre-arranged phone interview with Wallace Swanson who was vacation-
ing in Fargo, North Dakota, was conducted for one of the seven positions
of the Downtown Commission by Councilors Mark Lindberg and Brian Obie.
HCC Staff member, Elaine Stewart, coordinated the interview with the
same interview questions as were used for the other 14 applicants. The
interviewers were to report to the rest of the Council regarding this
particular interview.

Per the balloting, Councilor Gretchen Miller moved to appoint the following
to the Downtown Commission; motion seconded by r'lark Lindberg. Roll call
vote; motion carried 5:2 with Councilors Betty Smith, Gretchen Miller, John
Ball, Cindy Wooten, Mark Lindberg voting in favor and Councilors Brian Obie
and Bill Hamel voting in opposition.
