COUNCILORS PRESENT: Brian Obie, Betty Smith, Mark Lindberg, Gretchen Miller,
Bill Hamel, Emily Schue, Cynthia Wooten, John Ball; Terri
Vanderpool (Planning staff).
In order to resolve the 4:4 tie on Planning Commission and Joint Housing
Committee appointments, councilors agreed to share with each other their -
reasons for balloting as they had. Among other things, Councilor Schue,
who sits on the Joint Housing Committee, brought before the council the
present composition of the Joint Housing Committee. FOllowing additional
discussion, ballots were cast as follows:

Per balloting, it was moved and seconded to appoint Donna Turring to the
Joint Housing Committee. Councilors agreed to meet again next week to
at pt r. s v the tie vote for Planning Commission appointment.
