COUNCILORS PRESENT: Roger Rutan, Shawn Boles, Ruth Bascom, Debra Ehrman,
Bobby Green, Randy MacDonald, Kaye Robinette.
COUNCILORS ABSENT: Paul Nicholson, Mayor Jeff Miller.
The special meeting of the Eugene City Council was called to order by Council
President Roger Rutan.
I. INTERVIEWS FOR THE DOWNTOWN COMMISSION
The council interviewed Jerry Grotzinger and John Gage for the opening (pecu-
niary interest in downtown) on the Downtown Commission.
e II. INTERVIEWS FOR THE EUGENE/SPRINGFIELD METROPOLITAN PARTNERSHIP
The council interviewed Jane Scheidecker, Pennie Hopkins, and Patrick Malone
for the at-large opening on the Eugene/Springfield Metropolitan Partnership.
III. INTERVIEWS FOR THE PLANNING COMMISSION
The council interviewed Adell McMillan, Julie Aspinwall-Lamberts, and Tim Laue
for the remaining at-large position on the Planning Commission.
IV. INTERVIEWS FOR THE BUDGET COMMITTEE
Councilors interviewed Tim Laue and Leslie Hendrickson for the at-large open-
ings on the Budget Committee.
V. INTERVIEWS FOR THE HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION
The council interviewed Brian Knowles, Leroy Dickens, John Moniz, and George
Russell for the two remaining at-large positions on the Human Rights Commis-
sion.
