Adjourned meeting - from July 26, 1976 - of the Common Council of the city of Eugene,
Oregon was called to order by Council President Gus Keller in the absence of Mayor
Anderson at 11:00 a.m. in the McNutt Room with the following other Council members
present: Eric Haws, Wickes Beal, Neil Murray, and D. W. Hamel. Council members absent
were: Tom Williams, Ray Bradley, and Edna Shirey.
Selection of finalists to interview for position on Commission for Handicapped
After review of applicatio~submitted and some discussion, Mr. Haws moved second by
Mr. Hamel to interview R. C. Darby, Tom Spaulding, Betty Troxclair, Mike Helm, and
Windsor (Bill) Colvin. Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Haws moved second by Mr. Hamel to conduct interviews August 2, 1976
at five-minute intervals beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the McNutt Room, and
that questions similar to those asked in previous interviews be submitted
to the candidates for answer during the interviews. Motion carried
unanimously.
