Oregon was called t~ order by Council President Gus Keller in the absence of Mayor Ander-
son at 7:30 p.m. on October 18, 1976 in the Council Chamber with the follow other Council
members present: Eric Haws, Wickes Beal, Tom Williams, Neil Murray, and Ray Bradley.
Council members D. W. Hamel and Edna Shirey were absent.
I - Amending City Budget for 1976-77
Manager presented the proposed budget amendment, copies of which were distributed
to Council members.
Council Bill No. 1270 - Amending Ordinance No. 17704 (adopted 6/30/76) and
readopting 1976-77 city budget, making appropriations,
and levying annual tax in the amount of $11,191,641 for fiscal year 1976-77
was read by council bill number and title only, there being no Council member
present requesting that it be read in full.
jlublic hearing was held with no testimony presented.
Mr. Haws moved second by Mr. Williams that the bill be read the second time by
council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council, and that enact-
ment be considered at this time. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read
the second time by council bill number only.
e Mr. Haws moved second by Mr. Williams that the bill be approved and given final
"- passage. Rollcall vote. All Council members present voting aye, the bill was
declared passed and numbered 17787.
Upon motion duly made, seconded, and carried, the meeting was
adjourned to Monday, October 25, 1976.
