COMMITTEE REPORTS AND ITEMS OF INTEREST FROM MAYOR, CITY COUNCIL, AND CITY MANAGER The Mayor adjourns the meeting of the Eugene City Council and convenes a meeting of the Eugene Urban Renewal Agency. 5:50 p.m.* B. WORK SESSION: West Broadway Purchase Options Eugene City Council Agenda: November 27, 2006 L:\CMO\2006 Council Agendas\M061127\A061127S.doc Urban Renewal Agency President: I move to direct the Agency Director to issue an RFQ for the redevelopment of West Broadway based on the draft RFQ criteria included in this agenda item, with the responses to the RFQ to be brought back to the URA for consideration in early Spring 2007. Roll Call Vote The Mayor adjourns the meeting of the Eugene Urban Renewal Agency and reconvenes the meeting of the Eugene City Council. 6:50 p.m.* C. WORK SESSION: An Ordinance Prohibiting Extreme Fighting; Adding Section 4.740 to the Eugene Code, 1971; and Amending Section 4.990 of that Code *Time approximate 7:30 p.m. CITY COUNCIL MEETING Council Chamber, City Hall 1.PUBLIC FORUM Mayor: The Public Forum is an opportunity for individuals to speak to the City Council on any city-related issues except for those items which have already been heard by a Hearings Official or are on tonight’s agenda as a public hearing. Each person will have three minutes to speak. Please give your name and address when you come to the podium. The timer and lights indicate the time you have to speak. A yellow light will come on when you have 15 seconds to complete your comments. The red light indicates the end of three minutes. Mayor closes Public Forum and asks for comments from the City Council. 2. CONSENT CALENDAR A. Approval of City Council Minutes - October 11, 2006, Work Session - October 18, 2006, Workshop - October 23, 2006, Work Session B. Approval of Tentative Working Agenda C. Roll Call Vote 3.ACTION: An Ordinance Concerning Transportation System Maintenance Fees and Adding Sections 7.750 through 7.790 to the Eugene Code, 1971 City Council President: I move that the City Council adopt Council Bill 4931, an ordinance concerning a Transportation System Maintenance Fee. ACTION: Appointments to Budget Committee Budget Committee City Council President: I move to appoint __________ to Position 3 on the Budget Committee for a three-year term beginning November 1, 2006, and ending on October 31, 2009. Roll Call Vote City Council President: I move to appoint __________ to Position 7 on the Budget Committee to complete the unexpired term of Mike Clark, a term beginning upon appointment and ending on October 31, 2007.
