WORK SESSION: Annual Meeting with Police Commission and Presentation of Police Complaint System Recommendations Council President: I move to direct the City Manager to bring back to the council an ordinance consistent with the City Manager's recommendation contained in Attachment D. PUBLIC FORUM Mayor: The Public Forum is an opportunity/or individuals to speak to the City Council on any city-related issues except for those items which have already been heard by a Hearings Official or are on tonight's agenda as a pubfic hearing. Each person will have three minutes to speak. Please give your name and address when you come to the podium. The timer and lights indicate the time you have to speak. A yellow light will come on when you have 15 seconds to complete your comments. The red light indicates the end of three minutes. Mayor closes Public Forum and asks for comments from the City Council. 2. CONSENT CALENDAR A. Approval of City Council Minutes - June 22, 2005, Work Session - June 27, 2005, Work Session - June 27, 2005, City Council Meeting B. Approval of Tentative Working Agenda Council President: I move to approve the items on the Consent Calendar. Roil Call Vote 3. PUBLIC HEARING: An Ordinance Concerning Offenses: Amending Sections 4.105, 4.807 and 4.990 of the Eugene Code, 1971; Adding Sections 4.710, 4.728, 4.822, 4.880 and 4.922 to that Code Manager: Introduces topic, presents background information. Mayor opens the public hearing: Those wishing to speak during the Public Hearing must submit a completed "Request to Speak" form to the information desk, prior to the beginning of the Public Hearing. When you come to the podium to speak, please give your name and address; you will have three minutes to comment.
