Ordinance- 1 Wkhdrawal from the Junction City' Water Control District the parts of the District annexed to the City on February 6, 2002, by Final Order No. 950 of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated February 6~ 1992. all as hereinafter more particularly described. The Resolution set February- 11, 20022 at 8:00 P.M., Pacific Time, in the Council Chambers, C~.ty Hall, in Eugene, Oregon, as the time and place for hearing ob~iecfions to the wkhdrawals, and directed that nOtice of the time and place of the hearing be published once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the hearing and be posted in four public places in the Cky for the same period. The Notice has been so published m the Register Guard and posted in four public places in the City of Eugene, Oregon. The City is wilting to assume the liabilities and indebtedness previously contracted by the Districts proportionate to the parts of the Districts that have been annexed to the Cky upon the effective date of the withdrawals. ~fhe withdraw~als of the annexed territories from the Districts are consistent with the ftmdamental principles and applicable policies of the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan. and other adopted C~ty policies~ and ~t is in the best interest of the City that the territories be vcithdrawn.
