REPEAL OF ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 21-17-05 ESTABLISHING
DRONE USE POLICIES FOR CITY OF EUGENE EMPLOYEES.
The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows:
A. Under the provisions of Chapter IV, Section 16 of the Eugene Charter of 2002 , the
City Manager is designated as the administrative head of the City.
B. On June 6, 2017, I issued Administrative Order No. 21-17-05 adopting amended
Drone Use Policies for City of Eugene Employees.
C. A policy governing the use of drones by City employees and agents has been added
to the City's Administrative Policy Manual. Therefore , the Drone Use Policies adopted by
Administrative Order No. 21-17-05 are no longer necessary and I find that they should be repealed.
On the basis of these findings, I order that Administrative Order No. 21-17-05 1s
repealed.
