Discussion of Planning Process for Eugene Water & Electric
Board Riverfront Property
City Council President:
I move to direct the City Manager
to continue to work with EWEB to pursue Strategy 1: Initiate
master planning for the EWEB riverfront property, including
a) creating an Advisory Team, b) issuing an RFQ to select a

consultant, c) developing a citizen involvement plan, and d)
creating a concept plan.

Mayor:
The Public Forum is an opportunity for individuals to speak to the
City Council on any city-related issues except for those items which have
already been heard by a Hearings Official or are on tonight’s agenda as a
public hearing.
Each person will have three minutes to speak. Please give your name and
address when you come to the podium. The timer and lights indicate the time
you have to speak. A yellow light will come on when you have 15 seconds to
complete your comments. The red light indicates the end of three minutes.
Mayor closes Public Forum and asks for comments from the City Council.

4.ACTION:
Transfer of Water Pollution Control Property from City of Eugene to
Metropolitan Wastewater Management Commission
City Council President:
I move to direct the City Manager to take the
necessary steps to proceed with the transfer of approximately 168 acres of City-
owned land to the Metropolitan Wastewater Management Commission.
