PRESENT: Betty Taylor, Nancy Nathanson, Pat Fart, Scott Meisner, David Kelly, Gary Pap~,
Bonny Bettman.
ABSENT: Gary Rayor.
A. EXECUTIVE SESSION
The Eugene City Council, acting as the Eugene Urban Renewal Agency, met in Executive
Session, in accordance with Oregon Revised Statute 192.660(1)(e).
The January 10, 2001, meeting of the Eugene City Council, acting as the Eugene Urban Renewal
Agency, was called to order by Mayor James D. Torrey.
Councilor Taylor moved, seconded by Councilor Nathanson, to approve
Resolution 1011, a resolution of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of
Eugene, authorizing the purchase of the Chiquita property. The motion passed
unanimously.
Councilor Taylor moved, seconded by Councilor Nathanson, to authorize the
director to sell to the General Services Administration (GSA), up to four (4) acres
of the Chiquita site for an amount that he determines is in the public interest. The
motion passed unanimously.
The meeting adjourned at 7:17 p.m.
