COUNCILORS ABSENT: Betty Taylor, Bonny Bettman, Pat Fart. BOARDS, COMMISSIONS, AND COMMITTEE INTERVIEWS Councilors interviewed the following applicants for positions on the Citizen Charter Review Committee: Chris Pryor, Marlene Colbath, Ken Tollenaar, Freeman Holmer, Phyllis Loobey, Samuel Frear, Robert Cassidy, Susan Ban, Matthew Donahue, Kevin Wells, Jon Belcher, Virginia Thompson, Bern Johnson, Bob ©'Brien, John Arnold, and Charles Henry. Each applicant was asked the following questions: 1. What is your understanding of the role, function, and authority of the City Charter? 2. How do you propose to involve, listen to, and educate the public in this charter review process? 3. The City Council has designated specific areas of the charter for review. In your opinion, which areas of the charter should be given highest priority and why? 4. Do you have positions on any or all of the charter issues in the committee's charge, such as the role of council/mayor/manager, City Attorney, contracting, conflicts, etc. ?
