ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 58-22-04
of the
Airport Director of the Public Works Department
City of Eugene, Oregon
DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO ISSUE PARKING CITATIONS AT THE
EUGENE AIRPORT AND SUPERSEDING ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
NO. 58-15-15.
The Airport Director of the Public Works Department of the City of Eugene finds
that:
A. Under the provisions of Chapter IV, Section 16 of the Eugene Charter of 2002, the
City Manager is designated as the administrative head of the City, specifically authorized to
appoint and remove all employees (except as otherwise provided in the Charter), organize, and, as
deemed necessary, disband and reorganize various City departments, and to enforce all ordinances
of the City.
B. On May 19, 2014, the City Manager issued Administrative Order No. 21-14-01
granting the Public Works Executive Director authority to issue parking citations at the Eugene
Airport and to subdelegate that duty to the Airport Director.
C. On May 21, 2014, the Public Works Executive Director issued Administrative
Order No. 58-14-07 granting the Airport Director authority to issue to parking citations at the
Eugene Airport. That Order also authorized the Airport Director to subdelegate that duty to
qualified person(s).
D. On May 20, 2015, the Airport Director issued Administrative Order No. 58-15-15
granting the Airport Operations/Security Manager and all Airport Operations Duty Officers the
authority to issue parking citations at the Eugene Airport.
E. It would be most efficient and in the public interest to delegate the authority to issue
parking citations to the positions set forth in this Order, which shall supersede Administrative
Order No. 58-15-15 as of the effective date.
On the basis of the above findings, I order that:
1. The Airport Operations, Security and Tenant Services Managers, all qualified
Airport Operations Duty Officers, and Ground Transportation Officers are authorized to issue
parking citations at the Eugene Airport.
2. This Administrative Order No. 58-22-04 supersedes Administrative Order No. 58-
15-15 as of the effective date of this Order.
