AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONIfJG MAF
OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON, FINDS:
Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 22.7.210 - 227.280 and Sections 9.668-9.684
of the Eugene Code, 1971, the Common Council has the authority and responsi-
bility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change the zoning
classification of property within the City of Eugene,
The report of 'the Planning Commission and the testimony presented contains
specific affirmati~le rindings to the effect that the request for a change of
zone is in conformance with the General Plan; that there is public need for
the change in zone; and that the sublic need can best be served by changing
the classification of this property.
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF EUGENE DDES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The specific affirmative findings contained in ti-e report of the
~la~nn7 g Commission and the testimony presented be and the same are hereby
adopted.
Section 2. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the zoning
map, and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby amended
to reflect the following change of zone:
A portion of Tax Lot 300 - Assessor's ~1ap 18-04-11-U O,
as more particularly described on the attached Exhibit "A,"
located southeast of the south end cf Marren Street directly
north of the S^uth Hills ridgeline:

Grazing and Timber Raising to City RA-PD Suburban Residential
District with Planned Unit Develcpment procedures,
ction 3. The Planning Director be, and he is hereby authorized and directed

attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, to show the foregoing change
of classification of area and to note thereon the rule with respect co tuilding
in the appropriate classification.
