An Ordinance regulatir_g alleys and public utility ease-
ments in new plats to be filed in the City of Eugene; repealing all
ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith and providing
a penalty.
CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOL•LOW3:
Sn(~ineer or City Surveyor as provided by Section 92.100, Oregon
Revised Statutes, or by the Planning Commission of the City of Eugene,
there shall be provided in each block of said plat a public utility
easement or alley way extending from street to street, or from
street to contiguous property in such a manner that each lot may be
served therefrom. Said alleys and public utility easements shall be
not leaps than fourteen Yeet in width.
Before any said plat can be approved, there shall appear
thereon a restriction providing that no building, stricture, tree,
shrubbery or other obstruction shall be placed or located on or in
said public utility easement or alley.
Beforo auy said plat shall be approved, said public utility
easements and alleys, insofar as is reasonably possible, shall be
located so that the same shall connect with adjacent public utility
of the City of Eugene oY a violu.tion oY this oralnance snap Ce
punishable by fine oY not to exceed $200.00.
