AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS; RE-
ADOPTING SECTION 5.005 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971;
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 5.005 of the Eugene Code, 1911, is hereby readapted,
to provide:
5.005 State Traffic Laws. The provisions of ORS Chapters 801, 802, 803,
805, 806, 807, 809, 810, 811, 813, 814, 815, 816, 818, 819, 820,
821, 822, 823, and 153, including any amendments thereto by the Oregan Leg-
i sl ati ve Assembly, are hereby adapted, and violation thereof shat 1 constitute
an offense against the city.
Section 2. That the matters contained herein concern the public welfare
and safety, and in order to be in conformity with changes in the state
traffic code which became effective September 29, 1991, an emergency i s here-
by declared to exist, and this Ordinance shal 1 become effective at 12:01 a.m.
on September 29, 1991.
