AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR RAWAL
FROM 'THE RIVER ROAD WATER DISTRICT AND
RIVER ROAD PARK & RECREATION DISTRICT
THAT PART OF THE DISTRICTS ANNExED To THE
CITY OF EUGENE BY THE LANE COUNTY LOCAL
GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION ON
JULY 29,1991. AGATES, EC EU 91-25}.
The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution No. 4257 adopted
December 2, 1991, proposed withdrawal from the River Road Water District and
River Road Park & Recreation District that part of the Districts annexed to the City
on July 29, 1991 by Notice dated August 12, 1991 of the Lane County Local
Government Boundary Commission, as hereinafter described.
The Resolution set January 13, 1992, at 7:30 p.m., Pacific Time, in the
Council Chambers, City Ha11, in Eugene, Oregon, as the time and place for hearing
objections to the withdrawals, and directed that notice of the time and place of the
hearing be published once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the hearing
and be posted in four public places in the City far the same period.
The Notice has been so published in the Register Guard and posted in four
public places in the City of Eugene, Oregon.
The City is willing to assume the liabilities and indebtedness previously
contracted by the Districts proportionate to the part of the Districts that have been
annexed to the City upon the effective date of the withdrawal.
The withdrawal of the annexed territory from the Districts is consistent with
the fundamental principles and applicable policies of the Eugene-Springfield
Metropolitan Area General Plan, and other adopted City policies, and it is in the
best interest of the City that the territory be withdrawn.
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The territory in Lane County, Oregon, annexed to the City of
Eugene on July 29, 1991, as bounded and described as follows:
A parcel of land located in the River Road area between

Kourt Drive and Hamilton Avenue, east of Dalton Drive,
'Tax Lot 4104, Assessor's Map 17-04-14-1 3, and more
particularly described on Exht~bit "A" attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference Gates, EC EU 91-25}.
is hereby withdrawn from the River Road Water District and River Road Park &
Recreation District, effective July 1, 1992.
Section 2. The City Recorder is requested to forward a copy of this
ordinance to the above referred to Districts.
