The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution Na. 4298 adopted
January 27,1992, proposed withdrawal from the Santa Clara water District the parts
of the District annexed to the City an September 16, 1991 b Final Order Nas. 944
Y
and 945 of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission, as
hereinafter more particularly described; and proposed withdrawal from the River
Road water District and River Raad Park ~ Recreation District the parts of the
Districts annexed to the City on September 3, 1991 by Notices dated actober 28,
1991 of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission, as hereinafter
more particularly described; and the parts of the Districts annexed to the City on
January 21, 1992 by Final Grder No. 948 of the Lane County Local Government
Boundary Commission, as hereinafter mare particularly described.
The Resolution set February 19,1992, at 12:4(1 o'clock noon, Pacific Time, in
the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, Oregon, as the time and place far
hearing objections to the withdrawals, and directed that notice of the time and place
of the hearing be published once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the
hearing and be posted in four public places in the City far the same period,
The Notice has been so published in the Register Guard and posted in four
public places in the City of Eugene, Oregon.
The City is willing to assume the liabilities and indebtedness previously
contracted by the Districts proportionate to the parts of the Districts that have been
annexed to the City upon the effective date of the withdrawals.
The withdrawals of the annexed territories from the Districts is consistent with
the fundamental principles and applicable policies of the Eugene-Springfield
Metropolitan Area General Plan, and other adopted City policies, and it is in the
best interest of the City that the territories be withdrawn.

Section 1. The territory in Lane County, Oregon, annexed to the Ci of
Eugene on September lb, 1991 by Final Order No. 944 of the Lane Coup Local
Government Boundary Commission, as bounded and descn~ed as follows:
Tax Lot 13~oP, Assessor's Map 17-U4-~2 4 4, generally
located in the Santa Clara area, on the south side of
Wilkes Drive, east of Tempo Street, and more
particularly described on Exhibit A attached hereto and

Section 2. The territory in Lane County, Oregon, annexed to the City of
Eugene on September 16, 1991 by Final order No. 945 of the Lane County Local
Government Boundary Commission, as bounded and described as follows:
Tax Lot 55UU, Assessor's Map 17-04-11 4 2, generally
located in the Santa Clara area, west of River Road,
north of Irving Road, and north and east of Newcastle
Court, and more particularly described on Exhibit B
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

is hereby withdrawn from the Santa Clara Water District, effective July 1,1992.
Section 3. The territory in Lane County, Oregon, annexed to the City of
Eugene on September 3,1991 by Notice dated October 25,1991 of the bane Cvun
Local Government Boundary Commission, as bounded and described as follows:
Tax Lots 15U0,15U2,16U4, and 19x1, Assessor's Map 17-
44-23 4 2, located in the south River Rvad area west of
Glory Drive and south of Elkay Drive, and more
particularly described on Exhibit C attached hereto and

Eugene an September 3,1991 by Notice dated October 25,1991 of the Lane County
Local Government Boundary Commission, as bounded and described as follows:
Tax Lot 6444, Assessor's Map 17-U4-2312, located in the
River Road area on the west side of Lake Drive, between
Audel Street and Harn Lane, and mare particularly
described on Exh~`bit D attached hereto and incorporated

is hereby withdrawn from the River Road Water District and River Road Parks &
Recreation District, effective July 1, 1992.
Section 5. The territory in Lane County, Oregon, annexed to the City of
Eugene on January 2l, 1992 by Final Order Na. 945 of the Lane County Local
Government Boundary Commission, as bounded and described as follows:
Tax Lot 6004, Assessor's Map 17-Q4-2314, located in the
River Road area on the north side of Elkay Drive, east
of Fairway Drive, west of Hoover Lane, and south of
Marion Lane, and more particularly described on Exhibit
E attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
