The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution No, 4334 adopted June
22, 1992, proposed withdrawal from the River Road Water District and River Road
Parks & Recreation District the parts of the Districts annexed to the Ci on
February 2S, 1992 by Notice dated March 16, 1992 of the Lane County Local
Government Boundary Commission; on April 13, 1992 by Notice dated A ri,l 24,

Government Boundary Commission, all as hereinafter more particularly described.
The Resolution set July 27, 1992, at 7;30 P.M., Pacific Time, in the Council
Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, Gregon, as the time and place for hearin

objections to the withdrawals, and directed that notice of the time and place of the
hearing be published once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the hearin
g
and be posted ~n four public places ~n the City for the same period.
The Notice has been so published in the Register Guard and posted in four
public places in the City of Eugene, oregon.
The City is willing to assume the liabilities and indebtedness previousl
y
contracted by the Districts proportionate to the parts of the D~stncts that have been
annexed to the City upon the effective date of the withdrawals,
The withdrawals of the annexed territories from the Districts is consistent with
the fundamental principles and a licable olicies of the Eu ene-S rin 'eld

Metropolitan Area General Plan, and other adopted City policies, and it is in the
best interest of the City that the territories be withdrawn.

Section 1. The territory in Lane County, Oregon, annexed to the City of
Eugene on February 25, 1992 by Notice of the Lane County Local Government
Boundary Commission dated March 1~, 1992, as bounded and described as follows:
Tax Lot 113, Assessor's Map 17-04-23 2 0, generally
lacated in the central part of the River Road area of
north Eugene on the north side of Audel Avenue, west
of Lake Drive, and mare particularly described on Exhibit
A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
