AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AMENDMENTS TO THE EUGENE-SPRINGFIELD METROPOLITAN AREA TRANSPORTATION PLAN ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO, 19557 ON JUNE 8,1992. The City Council of the City of Eugene binds that: A, The Willakenzie Area Plan Plan} was amended and adopted by the Council as a refinement of the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan far the area within the Willakenzie area boundary by unanimous adoption of ordinance No. 19855 an June 8, 1992. B. Concurrent with adoption of the '~illakenzie Area Plan, amendments to the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area Transportation Plan were adopted by the Council to implement the Plan by unanimous adoption of Ordinance No. 19857 on June 8, 1992. C. The Willakenzie Area Plan was subsequently reviewed by the Lane County Board of Commissioners at work session meetings an June 22 and August 12, 1992 and at a public hearing on August 26, 1992. Based upon the testimony received and the discussion of the Commissioners, the Board approved the Plan through adoption of ordinance PA 1~2U by a 3-4 vote and approved additional amendments to the Eugene- Springfield Metropolitan Area Transportation Plan, as shown in Exhibit A hereto, D. The City staff has reviewed the additional amendments to the Eugene- Springfield Metropolitan Area Transportation Plan and recommended their adoption. The Council, upon review of the amendments, finds it is in the public interest and consistent with the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan that they be adopted by the City. NO'~V, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLO'~VS: Section 1. Based on the above findings, which are adopted herein, the amendments shown in Exhibit A hereto and incorporated herein by reference are hereby adapted as amendments to the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area Transportation Plan attached to and adopted by Ordinance No. 19857 on June S, 1992.
