AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AMENDMENTS TO THE
EUGENE-SPRINGFIELD METROPOLITAN AREA
PUBLIC FACILITIES PLAN ADAPTED BY ARDINANCE
NA. 19858 ON JUNE 8,1992.
The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that:
A. The ~Villakenzie Area Plan Plan} was amended and adopted by the Council
as a refinement of the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan for the area
within the Willakenzie area boundary by unanimous adoption of ordinance No. 19855 on
June 8, 1992.
B. Concurrent with adoption of the VLlillakenzie Area Plan, amendments to the
Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area Public Facilities Plan were adopted by the Council
to implement the Plan by unanimous adoption of ordinance No. 19858 on June 8, 1992.
C. The Willakenzie Area Plan was subsequently reviewed by the Lane County
Board of Commissioners at work session meetings on June 22 and August 12, 1992 and
at a public hearing on August 26, 1992. Based upon the testimony received and the
discussion of the Commissioners, the Board approved the Plan through adoption of
ordinance PA 102o by a 3-4 vote and approved additional amendments to the Eugene-
Springfield Metropolitan Area Public Facilities Plan, as shown in Exhibit A hereto.
D. The City staff has reviewed the additional amendments to the Eugene-
Springfield Metropolitan Area Public Facilities Plan and recommended their ado tion.

The Council, upon review of the amendments, finds it is in the public interest and
consistent with the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan that they be
adopted by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FALLO~'VS:
Section 1. Based on the above findings, which are adopted herein, the amendments
shown in Exhibit A hereto and incorporated herein by reference are hereby adopted as
amendments to the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area Public Facilities Plan attached
to and adopted by ordinance No. 19858 on June 8, 1992.
Section 2. Except as herein amended, all other provisions of the Eu ene-
