AN ORDINANCE ELECTING TO RECEIVE STATE REVENUE SHARING
FUNDS PURSUANT TO SECTION 221.110 OF OREGON REVISED
STATUTES, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City of Eugene, Oregon, for the fiscal year ending June
30, 1994, elects to receive distribution of funds from State Revenue Sharing
pursuant to Oregon Revised Statutes Section 221.170.
Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby directed to file a cagy of this
Ordinance with the Executive Department of the State of Oregon as prescribed
by Oregon Revised Statutes Section 221.770.
Section 3. Because election to receive State Revenue Sharing funds far
the fiscal ,year ending June 30, 1994 is required by law tv be made by the
City Counc~i by enactment of an ordinance and filed with the Executive De-
partment of the State of Oregon, it is necessary for the welfare of the City
of Eugene that said filing be made without de]ay, and an emergency is hereby
declared tv exist and this Ordinance sha11 take effect and be in full farce
from and after its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
