PROPERTY INTERESTS ALONG 11TH A NEST

ING SCHEDULE A of oRDINANCE No. 19581;
AND DECI~ARIN~G AN EMERGENCY.
The City Council of the City of Eugene bads that:
Ordinance Na.19581 authorizing the institution of proceedings in eminent domain
for the acquisition of property interests along 11th Avenue West from Garfield Street to
Tyinn Street was passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor on actvber 12,
1992.
Exhibit A to Ordinance No. 19581 contained a description of the parcels, or portions
thereof, the acquisition of which were determined necessary by the City in order to construct
the improvements as descr~~bed therein.
City staff has advised that several parcels of property which are necessary for
construction of the improvements to 11th Avenue West were erroneously omitted from
Schedule A to Ordinance No. 19881. That Schedule should therefore be amended to reflect
the necessity of acquisition of portions of those parcels.
Now, therefore,
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Based upon the above bndings, which are adapted herein, Exlu~it A to
Crdinance No. 19851 is amended by adding thereto the property interests reflected in
Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

Section 2. ordinance No.19S81 contained an emergency clause and was immediately
effective. The matters contained herein concern the public welfare and safety, and in order
to ensure there are no delays in construction of the above descr~`bed impravemen~, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor, retention by the Mayor for
more than ten days, or readoption aver a Mayoral veto by two thirds of all members of the
City Council.
