AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS; READOPTING
SECTION 5.005 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CITY 4F EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 5.005 of the Eugene Code, 1911, is hereby readopted,
to provide:
5.045 State Traffic laws. The provisions of ORS Chapters 841, 802, 803,
805, 806, 801, 809, 810, 811, 813, 814, 815, 816, 818, 819, 820, 821,
82Z, 8Z3, and 153, including any amendments thereto by the Oregon legislative
Assembly, are hereby adopted, and violations thereof shall constitute an offense
against the city.
Section Z. That the matters contained herein concern the public welfare
and safety, and i n order to ensure compliance with state 1 aw, an emergency i s
hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance shall become effective on November
4, 1993.
