AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING PERMIT FEES FOR USE OF THE
PUBLIC WAY; AND AMENDING SECTION 1.300 OF THE EUGENE
CODE, 1911.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1, 300 of the Eugene Code, 1911, i s amended to provide;
1.300 Public Wa Construction and Use -Permit Fees.
~ 1 ~ The fee for a permi t required by section 1.290 shat 1 be set by
the city manager pursuant to section 2.020 of this code to defray the cast of
inspection and administration of the code provisions covering work affecting the
public way.

franch~ see, i n adds t~ on to the fee required i n subsecti an 7.300 ~ 1 ~ , a fee for
1 eavi ng any structure, pipe, conduit, culvert ar f ac i 1 i ty i n the publ~ i c way may
be set by the city manager pursuant to section 2.020 of this code to provide a
reasonable return to the public for the permitted on-going use of the pub1 i c way.
