AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET;
MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY OF EUGENE
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1993,
AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1994; and DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the supplemental budget for the City of Eugene, Oregon,
for the year beginning July 1, 1993, and ending June 30, 1994, as set forth
in Section 2 below, is hereby adopted. .'
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does
hereby make the separate appropriation for each purpose, as detailed and item-
ized herein, pursuant to the provisions and ~in the manner provided by law as
follows:

Section 3. That this supplemental budget is prepared in accordance
with ORS ~94.480~1}~a}, which authorizes the formulation of a supplemental
budget resulting from "An occurrence or condition which had not been ascerw
tained at the time of the preparation of a budget for the current year which
requires a change i n f i nand a1 planning. " This supplemental budget was
published in accordance with ORS 294.48o~4}~a}.
Section 4. This ordinance complies with ORS ~94.480~5}, and does not
authorize an increase in the City's levy of taxes above the amount published
in the Annual Budget publication. .'
Section 5. The provisions of this ordinance are necessary for the
purpose of protecting the public health, safety and welfare, and therefore an
emergency is declared to exist, and this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
