The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution No. 4417 adopted June 13, 1994, proposed: ~a~ Withdrawal from the River Road Water District and River Road Parks & Recreation District the parts of the Districts annexed to the City on March 7,1994 by Notice of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated March 10, 1994; on March 29, 1994 by Notice of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated March 30,1994; and on Apri126,1994 byNotice of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated A ri128,1994• p fib} Withdrawal from the Santa Clara Water District the parts of the District annexed to the City on March 7,1994 by Notice of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated March 10, 1994; on March 8, 1994 by Notice of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated March 10, 1994; on March 21, 1994 by Final Order No. 992 of the Lane County Local Government Boundary. Commissian dated February 3,1994; and on May 18,1994 by Notice of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated May l7, 1994, all as hereinafter mare particularly described. The Resolution set July 25, 1994, at 7;30 P.M., Pacific Time, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, aregon, as the time and place for hearing objections to the withdrawals, and directed that notice of the time and place of the hearing be published once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the hearing and be posted in four public places in the City for the same period. The Notice has been so published in the Register Guard and posted in four public places in the City of Eugene, C]regon. The City is willing to assume the liabilities and indebtedness previously contracted by the Districts proportionate to the parts of the Districts that have been annexed to the Ci tY Grdinance -1 upon the effective date of the withdrawals. The withdrawals of the annexed territories from the Districts is consistent with the fundamental principles and applicable policies of the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan, and other adapted City policies, and it is in the best interest of the Ci that tY the terntor~es be withdrawn.
