The Resolution set February 22, 1995, at 7:30 ~M., Pacific Time, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, Oregon, as the time and place for hearing objections to the withdrawals, and directed that notice of the time and place of the hearing be published once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the hearing and be posted in four public places in the City for the same period. The Notice has been so published in the Register Guard and posted in four public places in the City of Eugene, Oregon. The City is willing to assume the liabilities and indebtedness previously contracted by the Districts proportionate to the parts of the Districts that have been annexed to the City upon the effective date of the withdrawals. The withdrawals .of the annexed territories from the Districts is consistent with the fundamental principles and applicable policies of the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan, and other adopted City policies, and it is in the best interest of the City that the territories be withdrawn. NO~ THEREFORE, Ordinance - 2 THE CI'IY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The territory in Lane County, Oregon annexed to the City of Eugene on August 8, 1994 by Notice of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated August 18, 1994, as bounded and described as follows: Tax Lot 1000, Assessor's Map 17-04-14 1 3, located in the northern portion of the River Road area, west of River Road, north of Kourt Drive, east of Grove Street, and more particularly described on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. (Peterson, Ee Ell 94-48). is hereby withdrawn from the River Road Water District and River Road Parks & Recreation District, effective July 1, 1995. Section 2. The territory in Lane County, Oregon annexed to the City of Eugene on November 9, 1994 by Notice of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated August 18, 1994, as bounded and described as follows: Tax Lot 800, Assessor's Map 17-04-13 3 2, located in the north River Road area, west of River Road, south of Maxwell, east of Evergreen, and more particularly described on Exhibit B attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. (Shaw, EC ED 94-50). is hereby withdrawn from the River Road Water District and River Road Parks & Recreation District, effective July 1, 1995. Section 3. The territory in Lane County, Oregon annexed to the City of Eugene on August 26, 1994 by Notice of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated September 27, 1994, as bounded and described as follows: Tax Lot 6300, Assessor's Map 17-04-23 4 4, located in the southern portion of the River Road area, east of the Northwest Expressway and Chestnut Avenue, west of Mayfair Avenue, south of Knoop Lane, and more particularly described on Exhibit C attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. The territory in Lane County, Oregon annexed to the City of Eugene on November 9, 1994 by Notice of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated October 17, 1994, as bounded and described as follows: Tax Lot 1600, Assessor's Map 17-04-14 4 4, located in the central River Road Ordinance - 3 area of North Eugene, east of Barton Street, west of MaDsana Street, south of Howard Lane, north of Hatton Avenue and more particularly described on Exhibit D attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. The territory in Lane County, Oregon annexed to the City of Eugene on January 23, 1995 by Notice of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated January 25, 1995, as bounded and described as follows: Tax Lot 2702, Assessor's Map 17-04-24-22, located in North Eugene, east side of Melvina Way, North of Horn Lane, south of Benjamine, west of River Road, and more particulary described on Exhibit F attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. The territory in Lane County, Oregon, annexed to the City of Eugene on September 19, 1994 by Final Order No. 1001 of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated August 4, 1994, as bounded and described as follows: A portion of Tax Lot 7400 Assessor's Map 17-04-111 3, located in the Santa Clara region of North Eugene, east of River Road, south of River Loop No. 1, and more particularly described on Exhibit G attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
