ISSUE STATEMENT
The City Council is requested to approve the sale of approximately 193 square feet of City-owned
property plus an additional 33 square feet of slope easement to the Oregon Department of Transportation
(ODOT). ODOT needs the subject areas for its proposed public improvement project at the northeast
corner of the Beltline and Coburg Road intersection.
BACKGROUND
The City purchased the parent parcel for a drainage way corridor in 1971. The subject area of the
proposed sale does not include or affect the actual drainage way or the City’s continued use for drainage
purposes. Public Works staff is supportive of the sale. No negative impacts are noted to utilities, police,
or fire.
