Council President:
I move to approve Option 1: Direct the City
Manager to work with the City of Springfield and Lane County to
develop a model for responding to the Coburg request. This
option would include an acknowledgement that preparation of
such a model is in the public interest; that Coburg would be
financially responsible for the cost of all associated efforts
including planning, legal, and connection costs; and that staff
would return with recommended cost-recovery and
customer/service relationship scenarios.
