FIVE YEAR CONSOLIDATED PLAN FOR HOUSING AND

B. The Cities of Eugene and Springfield have jointly prepared a Consolidated Plan for Housing
and Community Development in order to met that federal requirement, a copy of which is attached
hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference.
C. Public hearings were held to receive testimony on the draft Consolidated Plan by
representatives of the Eugene and Springfield City Councils, Eugene and Springfield CDBG
committees, the Lane County Human Services Commission, and Housing Policy Board, in June,
1999 and April, 2000.
D. The City Council has reviewed and considered the Consolidated Plan attached as Exhibit A
hereto, on April 24, 2000.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, a Municipal
Corporation of the State of Oregon, as follows:
Section 1. Based on the above findings, which are adopted herein, and the hearings held
thereon, the Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development attached as Exhibit A
hereto, is hereby approved.
