A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF FUNDS
AMONG CITY DEPARTMENTS
The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that:
A. The City Manager has reorganized City departments, moving the Facilities Division from
the Public Works Department to the Administrative Services Department.
B. The reorganization requires a transfer of funds among departments.
C. Adopting a Resolution to transfer funds between departments is necessary under ORS
294.450.
D. ORS 294.450(1) states that ". . .transfers of appropriations may be made within a given
fund when authorized by official resolution. . . of the governing body."
E. The expenditures related to the transfers indicated on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and by
this reference incorporated herein, have been determined necessary for the efficient
operation of the City.
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, A Municipal
Corporation of the State of Oregon, as follows:
Section 1. That the transfer of funds from the Public Works Department to the
Administrative Services Department for the City of Eugene, Oregon, for the fiscal year
beginning July 1,2000, and ending June 30,2001, as set forth in the attached Exhibit "A" is
hereby approved and authorized.
Section 2. That the amount reflected for the fiscal year beginning July 1,2000, and
ending June 30, 2001, are hereby appropriated for the purposes shown in the attached Exhibit
"A."
